The site was created in Wordpress using a theme called 'Carrington Blog' which was extensively modified to produce the final result.

MDC Interactive Milk Price Calculator
for Oyster Design & New Media

Creation of a contract price calculator for the Milk Development Council. The brief was to turn the existing Excel system into a web application.

The system allows milk producers to compare the prices they will get for milk across a large list of companies, taking into account the variations in volume and constituents specified by the user.

To make maintenance easier and cheaper for the client, we proposed an administration system with which they could alter all aspects of the contracts, down to individual clause level. This enables them to perform the vast majority of maintenance tasks themselves, adding new contracts when they come along and removing invalid ones.
